6:33 is a rock/metal band created in the 2010s. I was contacted in 2013 to create an original universe for them and make the video for the song Black Widow.
6:33 is a French metal rock band that is known in Europe for its extravagance and stylistic ambition through its concerts and music videos.
Through this film, I wanted to pay homage to Spanish mannerism and German expressionism. Fritz Lang's Metropolis and Robert Wiene's The Cabinet of Dr Caligari were my main inspiration.
In-between animation and film, you can watch the clip right below. The film was not filmed on a green background but on a white background in order to recover the luminosity of my protagonists.
