Mathema is a fun and educational series that aims to explain the simplest as well as the hardest mathematical theorems.

Aimed at a young audience, Mathias Champion (as the writer) and I (as director) decided to include geek and popular references. Explaining the Pythagorean theorem with reference to, for example, the orcs in the Lord of the Rings, who are trying to build a ladder big enough to climb the walls of the Helm's Deep.

The show was presented by Clémence Breteché and was punctuated by face cam and animation. The animation part highlighted the mathematical formulas.

The show was broadcasted on Science & vie and now streaming on Apple TV and Molotov
